Acelero Learning Hosts Mark Greenberg

Acelero Learning Camden/Philadelphia was honored to host Mark Greenberg, Acting Assistant President of the Administration of Children and Families.  He was greeted by our leadership, staff, and families, and was given a tour of our Social Capital and Shine On, Families initiatives.

Mr. Greenberg had the opportunity to gain feedback from parents about our PEER Cards, a collection of suggested activities that families can do together to extend learning into their home. One of our parents shared, "Well when I first saw them I thought, This is crazy! But as I was encouraged to use them, I began to realize this is not just regular homework.  I found that they helped to change the mindset of my child... not just to copy down some letters but to actually expand his imagination and how he thinks.  I am just so grateful!"
