Aubrey L. Jones, Esq. - Board Chair
Senior Legal Staffing Consultant, Beacon Hill Staffing Group
Originally from Clarksburg, West Virginia, Ms. Jones is a recent addition to the Philadelphia area. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007, she moved to Philadelphia to work for Pepper Hamilton, LLP. During law school, she was recognized for her demonstrated commitment to pro bono work through her work with the Allegheny County Public Defender's Office, an externship with Neighborhood Legal Services, and her participation in the Health Law Clinic. Previously, she deferred law school for two years to accept a position as an elementary school teacher in Detroit with the Teach for America program.
Ms. Jones graduated from Allegheny College in 2002.
Reverend Mark L. Merrill
Reverend Merrill is a lifelong Camden, New Jersey resident. His history demonstrates over 30 years of reputable services within both corporate and community based environments. Reverend Merrill’s community services include pastoring, social program development, family counseling, crisis intervention, and mentoring at-risk youth. His corporate history consists of senior management positions in the areas of corporate culture, development, sales, and facilities.
Reginald Sam Crabbe
Mr. Crabbe was born in Ghana and was educated in Ghana, Kenya, and England, where he qualified as a Chartered Certified accountant in 1979. His career has included Big Four experience with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Malawi, the British government in London, and tax consulting in Toronto, and he is currently an accounting consultant in the tri-state area. In the non-profit arena he was employed as the Financial Manager of the Powhatan Renape Nation in Burlington, NJ, and was responsible for $5 million in state and federal funds disbursed to three Indian tribes in the state
Sonnie Cherry Former Parent, Acelero Head Start
Mr. Cherry has served on the Policy Council of Acelero Learning Camden/Philadelphia for two years as Chair. He is passionate about Acelero's efforts to close the achievement gap and supporting the families in his community.
Pamela J. Robb
Ms. Robb is a lifelong resident of Camden, New Jersey, having lived in the city for over 45 years. Pamela is a decorated veteran and recipient of the Martin Luther King Freedom Medal. Her dedication and commitment to Camden is shown in the numerous boards and association in which she faithfully serves.
Jen Brozoski Jen Brozoski currently serves as Assistant Director of Literacy and Wheatley Implementation Lead for Mastery Charter Network. Prior to joining the team at Mastery, she served as an Intervention Specialist and School Leader for the Camden City School District. Jen has dedicated her professional career to supporting high-quality educational opportunities for students in the former Abbott districts in New Jersey. Jen completed the National Principals Academy Fellowship at Relay Graduate School of Education in 2018. Jen obtained her BA from Rutgers University, and her MS in Educational Leadership in Administration from Capella University. She is certified as an early childhood educator, special education teacher, and principal. When Jen is not supporting the implementation of the KIPP Wheatley literacy curriculum for Mastery’s network of over 14,000 students, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her eight-year-old daughter.
William Gregory (Bill) Fagan
Branch Manager, PNC Bank
Mr. Fagan was born and raised in North Philadelphia. Over the years, he has become a liaison between financial education and local communities. During his time working for PNC Bank, he has received two of PNC’s Service Excellence Awards. He also received the first PNC Bank Community Service Award in 2010 for outstanding contributions to our communities.
Thanks to the support of Acelero Learning - Camden/Philadelphia and in particular St. Elizabeth's, in 2009 Mr. Fagan co-founded along with Sonny Cherry the "Men 4 A Better Tomorrow" initiative. The program was created to empower men to empower their friends, their families, and each other to build a stronger community. Men 4 A Better Tomorrow is responsible for a number of contributions that range from how to gain employment to finding resolutions to domestic matters.
